"Charming and exuberant, Clément's 2018 Burgundy Pinot Noir bursts with aromas of red plum, cherry, and spice. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, fleshy, and supple, with a generous core of succulent fruit enlivened by a delicate touch that highlights its crisp fruit profile and eminently drinkable character." Terroirs

Terroirs often very close to the most renowned wines (sometimes just a few dozen or hundred meters away). They are located at the foot of the hillsides, in limestone soil, mixed with clay and marl, stony if not rocky, well-drained and with little water stagnation.

Eye

Richly colored, purple, then deepening with age to a deeper ruby, verging on violet.

Nose

The bouquet opens with a basket of small red and black fruits (strawberry, cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry), evolving into cooked prune, peppery, animal and undergrowth nuances, moss and mushroom.

Mouth

Red Burgundy is very lively on the palate, structured, with a supple and round finish. Its tannins and fruit engage in a tête-à-tête where the chewiness balances the impulse of the secondary aromas. Full-bodied and fleshy, it is, in a word, vinous.
