3-star rating (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)
About wine:
A lovely, delicate nose combining beautiful ripe fruit and floral notes, with a round, pleasant, flavorful palate.
About the estate:
An old Chablis family, the Michels cultivate the best areas, both premier crus and grands crus. The estate is also one of the very few to offer the Grand Cru Grenouilles, whose main producer remains La Chablisienne. Since 1969, the wines have been vinified in stainless steel vats, so they often start out discreetly in the bottle, but their minerality reveals itself beautifully after a few years of aging.

About wine:
Forêts 2020 stands out with a straw-like vegetal note. While its fruit appears tender, it lacks a little brightness and energy.
