Domaine Louis Michel & Fils

The family Michel has been involved in Chablis viticulture since 1850. Today, Guillaume and Jean-Loup Michel manage the estate in keeping with the philosophy of their ancestors: vinification with indigenous yeasts, no use of barrels, little manipulation during vinification, long ageing on lees... All this while maintaining high standards in the vineyard. The rows are grassed, the pruning is adapted and the soil is worked. Each plot is carefully tended to limit yields and produce high-quality Chablis.
