About the estate:
A long-established family in Chablis, the Michels cultivate the finest vineyards, both Premier Cru and Grand Cru. The estate is also one of the very few to offer the Grenouilles grand cru, of which La Chablisienne remains the primary producer. Since 1969, winemaking has been carried out in stainless steel tanks, so the wines here often start out quietly in the bottle, but their minerality comes through effortlessly after a few years of aging.

Wine rated (2022 guide) 94+/100 (Outstanding wine)
Rated estate (2022 guide) Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)
About the wine:
The 2020 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos is full-bodied, textured, and robust, evoking citrus zest, crisp green apple, white flowers, freshly baked bread, marzipan, and ripe peaches. Rich and concentrated, it is the fullest-bodied and most generous wine in the range, while remaining beautifully balanced.
