"When desires become reality with this high-flying vintage!"
"The bouquet is balanced and concentrated, with notes of white peach and praline infusing the mineral scents. Very restrained and discreet at first, it then gains in intensity. The palate is well-balanced, with notes of tart marmalade and quince, good depth and cohesion, halfway between classicism and the generous, almost tropical nature of the 2022 vintage. Highly recommended" (Vinous 2023)

3*Star rating (High-quality production, a benchmark in its sector)
About the domain :
An old Chablis family, the Michel's cultivate the very best areas, both premier cru and grand cru. The estate is one of the very few to offer the Grenouilles Grand Cru, whose main producer is La Chablisienne. Since 1969, vinification has been carried out in stainless steel tanks, so that the wines here often start off discreetly in bottle, but their minerality reveals itself without concern after a few years' cellaring.

Wine rated (2023 guide) 93/100
About the wine:
A grand cru with concentration and ageing potential. A great combination of ripeness and richness, cut by the salinity and acidity of citrus fruit. On the northern slopes of the Vaudésir valley, Michel owns two parcels planted on rich clay soils. Vaudésir can be a heat trap, but for those with northern exposure, it's less of a problem.
