Domaine de La Motte

Domaine de la Motte is a winery that has been owned by the Michaut family, passed down from father to son, since 1950. The vineyards are all located in the town of Beines, near Chablis. The Domaine de la Motte vineyard, situated on various slopes of the Kimmeridgian and Portlandian formations, comprises 25 hectares of vineyards within the following appellations: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru Vauligneau, and Chablis 1er Cru Beauroy.

The production of the various wines at Domaine de la Motte is the result of a team effort involving all members of the Michaut family. Annual production is approximately 100,000 bottles, depending on the harvest, which are exported worldwide.
