About the estate:
Located in Givry, this small 2.5-hectare estate is run by the Devillard family, who also own Château de Chamirey. It consists of three plots: two in the village appellation—including Clos Mortière—and one in the Servoisine Premier Cru. The vineyards are managed using sustainable farming practices under the guidance of Enrico Peyron; the grapes are harvested by hand, and the wines undergo extended aging. The plots are adjacent to one another and very well situated within the appellation. Production quantities are therefore limited, but the wines are crafted with a level of care comparable to that of the estate’s Mercurey wines.

About the estate:
This estate owes its name to the Abbey of La Ferté, the first daughter house of the Abbey of Cîteaux, built in the early 7th century. Cultivated by Cistercian monks until the Revolution, the estate’s 2.4 hectares were taken over in 1995 by Bertrand Devillard (Ch. de Chamirey, Dom. des Perdrix).
