The Domaine de la Garenne was born from an idea by the mayor of Azé to offer wine investors the limestone wasteland at the summit of the village’s prehistoric cave.
The Beaumont family—comprising Eliane and René, along with their daughter Pauline and son-in-law Amaury Devillard (Château de Chamirey, Domaine des Perdrix)—is dedicated to the viticultural and commercial development of Domaine de la Garenne. In just a few years, Domaine de la Garenne has become a must-visit destination in the Mâconnais region.
Domaine de la Garenne focuses on producing Chardonnay under the appellations Mâcon Buissières, Mâcon Azé, and Pouilly-Fuissé.
