Marie Bouthenet Estate
Jean-François Bouthenet, a passionate winemaker, founded the estate in 1987; his daughter Marie took over after his retirement and renamed it Domaine Marie Bouthenet in 2024.

The 11.5 hectares of Domaine Marie Bouthenet are cultivated using sustainable methods and are spread across the communes of Santenay, Cheilly-les-Maranges, and Dezize-les-Maranges.

The vines at Domaine Marie Bouthenet are 45 years old on average and are harvested by hand, followed by traditional winemaking, with malolactic fermentation in oak barrels for most of the wines in the range.
