"Its name is inspired by its clay terroir: this velvety-textured Pinot Noir will charm you with its aromas!"

"Both generous and elegant, with a richness of velvety tannins and aromas of wild berries, this medium-bodied pinot noir is a pure marvel. I love its aromas of summer flowers and pomegranate. Its long, powdery finish leaves you wanting more. Made from organically grown grapes. Drink it or cellar it. (James Suckling 2025)

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated (2020 guide) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)

About the domain :

In 2012, Olivier Halley, a descendant of the family that owns Promodès, a Carrefour shareholder, bought this 40-hectare estate, including 28 hectares of Marsannay, at the same time as Château de Meursault, and entrusted its management to Stéphane Follin-Arbelet. The investments in cultivation, techniques and human resources that had to be made because the estate had fallen on hard times are beginning to pay off. Sylvain Pabion, who previously worked at Bertrand Minchin's Clos Delorme, has joined the château to run the business and manage the reception area. A large reception room here can accommodate up to 350 seated guests, a rarity in Burgundy winegrowing.
