Château de Marsannay
Since 2012, Château de Marsannay has belonged to the Halley family, who also own Château de Meursault in the Côte de Beaune. Eager to make the most of the estate's potential, Olivier Halley has implemented a program of investments in the vineyard and winery.

The Château de Marsannay estate covers almost 34 hectares, starting in the north with the Bourgogne "Montre-Cul" in Dijon, and ending in the south with vines in Clos de Vougeot. The team also leases nearly 4 hectares of vines belonging to the Hospices de Dijon. The vines are grown in a sustainable manner, with yields and grape quality under constant control. Finally, the grapes are cut exclusively by hand by a team of 100 harvesters.

The Château de Marsannay cellars are vaulted in the purest Burgundy tradition, and paved with stone from Meuilley, a small village in the nearby Hinterland. Built on the model of the Cistercian cellars at Château de Meursault, they extend over two levels and descend to a depth of 9 meters. The wines are matured at a constant temperature of 15°C, and the soil is regularly watered to maintain a constant level of humidity. The cellars can store around 500 pieces of wine and up to 400,000 bottles.
