Mazis-Chambertin
The Burgundy appellation Mazis-Chambertin was established in 1937 and produces exclusively red Grand Crus. A vivid ruby color, a nose suggesting notes of raspberry, blackcurrant, and redcurrant with spices, and a palate that combines power and elegance characterize Mazis-Chambertin wines, which also have good aging potential. The soils of Mazis-Chambertin consist of brown earth and clayey limestone, resting on a subsoil rich in fossils.
