Jeannin-Naltet Estate
Located on a single plot overlooking the village of Mercurey, Domaine Jeannin-Naltet has been a family-owned estate run by winemakers since 1858. It spans 9 hectares of vineyards, including 7 hectares of Mercurey 1er Cru in the heart of the Côte-Chalonnaise. Benoît Eschard, the youngest of the family, took over the estate in 2011, upholding Burgundian tradition and spirit.

Domaine Jeannin-Naltet produces wine from three Mercurey 1er Cru vineyards: "Les Naugues," "Le Clos l’Evêque," and the "Clos des Grands Voyens," which it owns exclusively. Each plot is cultivated and vinified with care, all contributing to enriching, vintage after vintage, the excellence of this unique artisanal expertise and expressing the different facets of the vineyard.

The Mercurey appellation is primarily situated on wind-sheltered marl-limestone slopes, which lend its red and white wines a full-bodied power underpinned by crisp fruit. Its great wines are sumptuous: their generosity and elegance stem from a terroir that predisposes its vines to noble ripeness. The red and white wines of Domaine Jeannin-Naltet are single-varietal wines, made from Pinot Noir (red) and Chardonnay (white).
