Les Vergelesses 1er Cru offers good aromatic intensity, with notes of dark berries (blackberries, blackcurrants), roasted and toasty aromas, and a mineral backdrop (calcareous marl). The attack is clean and fresh, with notes of morello cherry, a lovely structure, noticeable yet well-integrated tannins, and a lingering, fresh, mineral, and fruity finish.
