Domaine Rois Mages
In 1984, Anne-Sophie Debavelaere founded the Rois Mages Estate, A 10-hectare estate in the heart of the Côtes Chalonnaises. Facing southeast, the vineyard is planted with the three Burgundy grape varieties (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Aligoté), half of which are old vines growing on the hillsides.
Félix, the son of Anne-Sophie Debavelaere, joined the family estate after traveling and earning his degree in oenology. He is in charge of the vineyards and the winemaking process for the red wines.
In 2015, Domaine Rois Mages built a new winery to better meet production demands. The wines are aged in oak barrels in old barrel-vaulted cellars built into the hillside.
