Domaine Françoise et Denis Clair

Over the years, the Françoise and Denis Clair estate has expanded with the purchase and lease of several Chardonnay plots, mainly in the commune of Saint-Aubin, where Françoise Clair is from and where the cellars are located. 

Today, the estate covers 15 hectares (65% red – 35% white). Since 2000, Jean-Baptiste, the son, has been working on the estate and together they have created a small wine trading business to further expand the range of wines produced. 

Almost all of the production is vinified and bottled, amounting to approximately 75,000 bottles per year. The Françoise and Denis Clair estate strives to improve the quality of its wines year after year and is regularly featured in various guides and specialist magazines (Bettane and Desseauve, Revue des Vins de France, Guide Hachette des vins, Bourgogne Aujourd'hui, etc.).
