Vézelay
A Burgundy appellation recognized by the INAO in 2017, Vézelay produces exclusively dry white wines made from Chardonnay. The vineyard's origins Vézelay dates back to the late 1st century and covered 500 hectares in the 18th century. But following the phylloxera epidemic, the vineyard nearly disappeared entirely; it was thanks to the determination of a dozen or so winemakers that Vézelay was able to be reborn and regain its prominence in the 1970s.

Today, the Vézelay appellation encompasses 70 hectares of vineyards, situated on marl and limestone soils at an elevation of 190–330 meters and facing south/southeast. An additional 180 hectares will allow for the expansion of this vineyard in the coming years.

Vézelay wines typically feature a bouquet with floral notes and hints of white fruit or citrus. With a smooth, fruit-forward attack, these wines offer a lovely structure on the palate, with citrus and mineral notes.
