“100/100 from Wine Enthusiast and 99/100 from James Suckling: Napa Valley biodynamics at its finest!”
"An exquisite wine built primarily around Cabernet Sauvignon from a single vineyard. Aromas of lavender, dried herbs, and grapefruit pulp combine with flavors of firm fruit and cocoa, supported by a structure of abundant, powder-fine tannins and a tantalizing finish. This wine is refined, nuanced, and delicious, with as much elegance as it has energy. ” (Wine Enthusiast 2024) - Delivery in a wooden case is available for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and selected shipping method)

Eye
Deep purple color, brilliant sheen
Nose
Intense, complex, and floral aromas: fresh violet, lilac, and a fruity bouquet of blackcurrant and black cherry, complemented by notes of anise, bay leaf, and forest floor
Palate
It develops delicate yet firm tannins, with flavors that echo the nose—notably black fruits, fresh grass, and spices. Vibrant and well-balanced, it has a velvety texture and a long, delicate, chalky finish.

Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Wine rated (2024 guide) 96/100 (Extraordinary wine)
About the wine:
Characterized by aromas of cherry and raspberry, with just a hint of cedar and mocha-tinged oak, the fruity 2021 Quintessa is wonderfully smooth and supple on the palate. It is medium-bodied to full-bodied, smooth and silky, full of class and elegance, without any sense of excessive bulk or coarseness. If one were to find fault with this wine (which is unlikely), one might say it is almost too polished, too elegant, too easy to drink. 2024–2040

About the wine:
Deep ruby color, verging on purple. Young, with dense aromas of blackberry and violet and subtle notes of orange peel and spices. Ripe and viscous on the palate, with high, clinging tannins that coat the mouth and very fresh acidity. Incredibly concentrated, this wine should age well. Long finish. A wine to definitely save for a special occasion or perfect for laying down to celebrate a 2021 birth. 2028–2045

Wine rated (2024 guide) 99/100
About the wine:
The nose is rich with graphite and volcanic notes, along with hints of metal shavings and gunpowder. There are also hints of black ink, iron, and rust. Subtle notes of blackberry and blackcurrant. Full-bodied but not overly so, with juicy, chewy tannins that are long and very subtle. Superb finish. Made from Demeter-certified biodynamic grapes. 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, 3% Carmenere, 1% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot. Ready to drink now, but will be best in 2027.

About the wine:
The 2021 Quintessa offers pure aromas of blueberries, spring flowers, violets, and spicy oak, with a lovely mineral and chalky note that becomes more pronounced on the palate. It is elegant and full-bodied, with very fine tannins, good acidity, and remarkable length. This is another magnificent wine that will age for over 15 years. 2024–2039
