Maison Krug Champagne

Maison Krug was founded in 1843 by Joseph Krug, a non-conformist visionary with an uncompromising philosophy. His dream was to create the best Champagne possible every year, regardless of climatic variations. Taking a traditional approach to Champagne-making, he decided to go beyond the very notion of vintage to create the most generous expression of Champagne every year. He thus founded a House where all Champagnes would be of equal distinction. Since then, six generations of the Krug family have pursued this dream, enriching the vision and know-how of the House's founder.
