Maison Krug Champagne

The House of Krug was founded in 1843 by Joseph Krug, a visionary nonconformist with an uncompromising philosophy. His dream was to create the finest Champagne possible every year, regardless of climatic variations. Drawing on a traditional approach to Champagne production, he decided to move beyond the very concept of a vintage in order to create, every year, the most generous expression of Champagne. He thus founded a House where all Champagnes would be of the same level of distinction. Since then, six generations of the Krug family have carried on this dream, enriching the vision and expertise of the House’s founder.
