"A true consecration for Chile with a 100/100 from James Suckling, and judged among the best vintages of the estate by the Wine Advocate!"

"One of the best vintages of the iconic Seña wine, Seña 2021 comes from a cooler year, in line with 2016 and 2018, certainly cooler than 2020 and 2019. It has a super-expressive nose, elegant, nuanced, fragrant, subtle and pure, with aromatic finesse, layered and complex. [...] It's fine and structured but juicy, similar to 2018 but with more finesse. There's the spicy/herbaceous touch of Cabernet, ultra-refined tannins that give it great elegance, as well as length, purity and delineation. Superb" (The Wine Advocate 2023) - Delivery in wooden cases possible for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on country and shipping method selected).

Wine rated (2024 guide) 98/100

About the wine:

Linear, elegant and beautifully structured, with fine-grained tannins that are both firm and silky. Highly nuanced aromatic profile of crisp red plum, red cherry, cranberry, wild strawberry and blood orange, with fuller-bodied notes of dark chocolate and tobacco. Subtle floral notes add to the wine's appeal. On the palate, there's an interesting tension between the depth and fleshiness of the fruit, and the robust, vertical line of acidity. 2024-2040

Wine rated (2023 guide) 17/20

About the wine:

A brilliant purple color, a pure nose of cassis, mint and cinnamon. Silky on the palate, ultra-refined tannins are enveloped by beautifully preserved black fruits. The acidity is zesty and works well with the riper fruit tones. The sweet spice notes are well balanced. This is a very well-made wine with a long, harmonious finish. 2024-2035

James Suckling

James Suckling

Wine rated (2024 guide) 100/100

About the wine:

Overpowering nose with a cornucopia of black, red and blue berries, perfectly accented by fine toasted oak. With aeration, floral notes develop. The medium- to full-bodied palate is highly concentrated, vibrant and incredibly fine. The finish is so brilliant that the power builds steadily. Still very young, but already dangerously delicious. It really will be hard to wait. Made from biodynamically grown grapes. Drink now, but best from 2025.

Falstaff

Falstaff

Wine rated (2024 guide) 98/100

About the wine:

Dark ruby with opaque core and violet highlights, subtly brighter at the edges. Taste of tobacco and oak, delicate notes of licorice, blackberry and hints of meadow grass. Taut, elegant, red cherry on a tight, flavorful frame, with pleasant acidity and a saline-mineral finish. The whole is harmonious and persistent. A fine companion for the table, with definite ageing potential.
