Aconcagua Valley
The Aconcagua Valley is located 65 km north of Chile's capital, Santiago. At the foot of Mount Aconcagua, the highest point in the Americas at 6,956 m, the Aconcagua Valley is subject to a Mediterranean climate. Stretching from east to west, there are two types of soil: sandy clay in the east and clay-granite in the west.

Best known for its renowned red wines, the Aconcagua Valley is mainly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon (303 hectares), as well as Syrah (155 hectares), Sauvignon Blanc (117 hectares), Pinot Noir (99 hectares), Merlot (90 hectares), Chardonnay (64 hectares), Carménère (63 hectares), and Cabernet Franc (61 hectares).
