"This Chilean icon was ranked among the top 100 wines in the world tasted by James Suckling in 2024!"
"What fabulous aromas of lavender, blackcurrant, graphite, tapenade, and hints of sweet tobacco. So complex and sophisticated. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, with incredibly fine, long-lasting tannins. It lingers for minutes. It's all about elegance and class. There is harmony and freshness for a dry year. Seductive and so long. 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Carmenere, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot. It can be drunk now, but it is a wine for aging. Drink from 2028. Eye
An attractive, vibrant dark ruby color
Nose
Pure and layered, with a generous and elegant bouquet of blackberry, blackcurrant, and wild strawberry, combined with mineral nuances and delicate notes of violet, ink, vanilla, and dark chocolate.
Mouth
The wine is remarkably balanced, full of life, density, structure, roundness, and flavors. Ripe, well-integrated tannins give it a voluptuous texture, perfectly balanced by high acidity. The finish leaves an impression of fullness, length, and elegance.

About wine:
Almaviva 2022 opens with an intense, woody nose, with savory aromas of roasted bell pepper and pleasant notes of lavender and dried herbs. The palate is dense, succulent, and tannic, with considerable concentration and opulence. The finish prolongs this lush and complex opulence, ending with supple, firm, and tenacious tannins, pleasantly supported by fresh acidity and herbaceous and mentholated notes. Despite its immediate richness, this wine is quite tense and will need a few years for its formidable tannins to integrate further. But it will be a pleasure to watch it evolve over the next decade and beyond. It is a blend of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Carmenere, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot, aged for 20 months in 70% new French oak barrels. 2026-2037
