Clos Canarelli

Clos Canarelli is owned by Yves Canarelli, who is first and foremost a proponent of biodynamic viticulture—certified by ECOCERT—and is also a fervent advocate for local grape varieties, the roots of Corsican viticulture. Today, he is a standout producer in the Figari appellation, crafting wines of great precision. He works at theClos Canarelli vineyard , which receives the most sunshine in France; yet the frequent winds and mountain breezes allow him to create finely crafted wines.

His passion for the terroir, his meticulousness, and his tireless research—planting Corsican grape varieties, practicing biodynamic viticulture, using indigenous yeasts, and building a new winery with an aging cellar—are producing marvelous results.
