Clos Canarelli

Clos Canarelli is owned by Yves Canarelli, who is first and foremost a proponent of biodynamic viticulture—certified by ECOCERT—and is also a fervent advocate for local grape varieties, the roots of Corsican winemaking. Today, he is a leading figure in the Figari appellation and produces wines of great precision. He works on theClos Canarelli vineyard , which receives the most sunshine in France; however, the frequent winds and mountain breezes allow him to craft finely crafted wines.

His passion for the terroir, his meticulousness, and his tireless research—planting Corsican grape varieties, practicing biodynamic viticulture, using indigenous yeasts, and building a new winery with an aging cellar—are producing marvelous results. The wines produced by Clos Canarelli are of the highest quality—original and distinguished, imbued with a strong personality.
