Clos Canarelli

Clos Canarelli is owned by Yves Canarelli, who is first and foremost a proponent of biodynamic viticulture—certified by ECOCERT—and is also a passionate advocate for local grape varieties, the roots of Corsican winemaking. Today, he is a leading figure in the Figari appellation and produces wines of great precision. He works on theClos Canarelli vineyard , which receives the most sunshine in France; however, the frequent winds and mountain air currents allow him to craft finely crafted wines.

His passion for the terroir, his meticulousness, and his relentless research—planting Corsican grape varieties, biodynamic cultivation, indigenous yeasts, and a new winery with an aging cellar—work wonders.
