“The new vintage hadn’t been released yet, so I tasted the 2015 Loco Blanc again to check how it had evolved in the bottle. It’s becoming very balsamic, with notes of camphor and bay leaf; this wine is clearly Mediterranean, with some mineral notes reminiscent of Riesling, while retaining its varietal character. It should continue to improve with age.” (Wine Advocate 2018 - Robert Parker) A wine that truly lives up to its name! A daring venture to produce the only 100% White Grenache cuvée in central Spain. A unique and must-try cuvée! ( Comes with its fabric sleeve)

About the wine:
The new vintage hadn't been released yet, so I tasted the 2015 Loco Blanc again to see how it had developed in the bottle. It has taken on a very balsamic character, with notes of camphor and bay leaf; this wine is distinctly Mediterranean, with some mineral notes reminiscent of Riesling, while retaining its varietal character. It should continue to improve with further bottle aging.
About the estate:
I have tasted a selection of Canopy’s excellent wines on several occasions. The wines always retain their freshness, even in a sunny vintage like 2015. The vineyards are cultivated using organic farming methods; all fermentations are carried out with indigenous yeasts; aging takes place in barrels that have previously held two or three vintages, with a preference for large containers, which helps round out the tannins without overpowering the wines. A top-tier estate, producing wines that perfectly reflect the vintage and their preferred terroir.
