"Their flagship wine, Clos Mogador 2022, from a single vineyard, was produced from a blend of grape varieties, mainly Grenache and Cariñena, but also a little Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon [...] It has a very Mediterranean nose with lots of notes of dry hay and straw, the classic notes of wet slate, very Priorat too, and it has a round palate and very fine, chalky tannins. It is serious and harmonious, and seems relaxed, without any excess. It has 14% alcohol, with 5.4 grams of acidity and a very dry finish. None of the 2022s showed excessive heat or maturity. The alcohol is restrained and integrated, and the wines are balanced and harmonious, but with a more Mediterranean profile. [...] 2025-2038" (Robert Parker 2025)

About wine:
Their flagship wine, Clos Mogador 2022, from a single vineyard, was produced from a blend of grape varieties, mainly Grenache and Cariñena, but also a little Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon (less and less, as they are in the process of grafting most of them). It was fermented with 40% whole clusters and matured in 2,000- and 2,500-liter oak casks; some are old barrels, to avoid having too much new oak, and some batches finish their aging in concrete to reach around 20 months. They have implemented some changes, moving to larger volumes and abandoning barrels in favor of casks (with the low volumes of 2024, the wine will be aged exclusively in casks). It has a very Mediterranean nose with lots of notes of dry hay and straw, the classic notes of wet slate, very Priorat too, and it has a round palate and very fine, chalky tannins. It is serious and harmonious, and seems relaxed, without any excess. It has 14% alcohol, with 5.4 grams of acidity and a very dry finish. None of the 2022 wines showed excessive heat or ripeness. The alcohol is restrained and integrated, and the wines are balanced and harmonious, but with a more Mediterranean profile. 35,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2024. 2025-2038

About wine:
The woody aromas are still a little pronounced, but this does not prevent the wine from expressing its full complexity and impressive depth. Graphite, roasted spices, and a range of dried herbs and sweet cherries. It is round, almost full-bodied and complex, with firm, fine tannins and a long finish. Drink from 2025.
