Bodegas Dominio de Cair

Cair Domain is a challenge that producer Luis Canas has taken on in the Ribera del Duero region, after dedicating his life to Bodegas Luis Cañas, the family winery in Rioja Alavesa, and later to Bodegas Amaren, established to honor his mother’s memory.

After a long search for the right terroir and vineyards, Juan Luis Canas settled in La Aguilera, a small hamlet in the northern part of the DO, rich in old vines planted on clay-limestone soils mixed with sand and gravel, at an altitude ranging from 800 to 950 meters.

Focusing on quality rather than quantity, Bodegas Dominio de Cair practices balanced and sustainable viticulture across its 85 hectares of vineyards, grounded in respect for the environment through yield management and modern winemaking equipment, in order to produce exceptionalBodegas Dominio de Cairwines that express the essence of the land where they are born.
