Domeco de Jarauta Winery
Domeco de Jarauda is a family-owned estate founded in the late 19th century. In 1995, José Vicente de Domeco Jarauta, the current owner, built a modern winery where he began marketing his wines, and founded Winery Domeco de Jarauta with his son José Vicente de Domeco Jarauta, with the aim of combining tradition, quality, and innovation.

La Rioja is one of the few regions in the world where wine is made exclusively from local grape varieties. The grape varieties cultivated by Domeco de Jarauda are Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, and Mazuelo, grown under extreme climatic conditions: cold, wet winters and dry summers. These are essential and significant factors in the production of quality wine.

Domeco de Jarauda
cultivates its various vineyards with a constant focus on the environment, without using preventive treatments in the vineyards. One of the best vineyards was certified organic in 1990. In 2005, the estate launched its first line of organic wines.
