Javier Zaccagnini, who is also a co-owner of Aalto in Ribera del Duero, founded Ossian with the sole purpose of producing Spain’s finest white wines. Columela is the estate’s second wine, made from 100% Verdejo, with 85% of the vines grown ungrafted. This 2009 vintage is characterized by its delicate aromas of white flowers and subtle notes of almonds. The grape variety lends the wine a lot of character, with lovely acidity and great freshness. A splendid Rueda worth discovering!
