This is nothing like the Spanish wines we’re used to—heavy, full-bodied, oaky, and often warm. Here, we find finesse, freshness, subtlety, and a subtle, well-considered aging process. It’s very good.

But how does Parker rate Spanish wines? Sure, the wine is good, but to give it a score of 90+... it lacks density, length, etc.

Powerful, but lacking finesse. Definitely one to watch. A good wine, but does it really deserve a "93/100"??? Or maybe I just didn't know how to appreciate it...

Out of two bottles, one was completely oxidized!!! It tasted almost like vinegar. The second one doesn't deserve a 93/100. High acidity, harsh tannins, short on the palate.
