"Soplo 2020 is a young Garnacha with around 10% Monastrell and Forcalla and moderate alcohol content (13.7%). It was fermented with 20% whole bunches in stainless steel using gentle vinification techniques and aged in oak vats for 12 months. It has a bright ruby color and a fragrant, expressive, young nose, blending fruit and flowers, elegant and with a fresh palate with very fine tannins, great texture, and very concentrated, clean flavors. Superb. Excellent value for money too. " (Wine Advocate 2022)

A pleasant discovery. The palate combines power and volume with supple, dense, and well-integrated tannins. This 100% Grenache showcases beautiful fruit concentration, accompanied by notes of spice and hints of tobacco and vanilla, the result of long, well-controlled aging. It is delightfully crisp right through to the finish, with a slight acidity. An added bonus: an attractive price. Serve slightly chilled at 15°C with a generous dish of Spanish rice with marinated pork and chorizo cooked à la plancha.
