“The Soplo 2020 is a young Garnacha with about 10% Monastrell and Forcalla and a moderate alcohol content (13.7%). It was fermented with 20% whole clusters in stainless steel using gentle winemaking techniques and aged in oak barrels for 12 months. It has a brilliant ruby color and a fragrant, expressive, youthful nose blending fruit and floral notes; it is elegant on the palate, with fresh, very fine tannins, great texture, and highly concentrated, clean flavors. Superb. Excellent value for the price as well.” (Wine Advocate 2022)

A delightful discovery. On the palate, it combines power and body, supported by supple, dense, and well-integrated tannins. This 100% Grenache showcases a beautiful concentration of fruit, accompanied by notes of spice and hints of tobacco and vanilla—the result of a long, well-balanced aging process. It remains crisp and refreshing right through to the finish, which features a light acidity. As a bonus: an attractive price. Serve slightly chilled at 15° alongside a hearty dish of Spanish rice with marinated pork shank and chorizo, cooked à la plancha.
