This late-harvest wine boasts an intense bouquet of citrus, elderflower, and linden blossom, enhanced by fresh notes of tropical fruit. Elegant and charming on the palate, it offers a smooth attack marked by a crisp, mineral acidity. The balance between residual sugar and acidity is perfectly achieved. A remarkable sweet wine!

Review by Mr. DIDIER P. Published on November 2, 2019

An excellent, very light-colored white wine with a delicate floral bouquet. It brings to mind its older siblings, the Tokaj Aszú wines, whose similarity is evident in the grape variety. Lively, exuberant, and bold, balancing acidity with a certain sweetness (typical of Tokaj wines), it doesn’t pair well with fruity desserts, tarts, or cakes (I’ve tried several times, all with disappointing results). I see it best as an aperitif under the arbor with a few well-chosen zakouski. A rather unique case of a wine that is perfect on its own.
