Luigi Pira - Marenca 2008

Luigi Pira - Marenca 2008

Note: Robert Parker 95/100
“The 2008 Barolo Vigna Marenca is surprisingly supple and elegant. Notes of red cherry, freshly cut flowers, spices, and mint unfold in the glass in a refined, invigorating way rarely seen in this wine. Remarkable, with a long and harmonious finish. A hint of dried rose and sweet cherries lingers in the empty glass—a dazzling display. The Marenca was aged in a combination of barrels and casks.” (Wine Advocate – Robert Parker)
