Luigi Pira - Marenca 2008

Luigi Pira - Marenca 2008

Note: Robert Parker 95/100
"The 2008 Barolo Vigna Marenca is surprisingly supple and elegant. Notes of red cherry, freshly cut flowers, spices, and mint take shape in the glass in a refined, invigorating register rarely seen in this wine. Remarkable, with a long, harmonious finish. A hint of dried rose and sweet cherries lingers in the empty glass, making for a dazzling display. The Marenca has been aged in a combination of barrels and casks." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)
