Catarratto is a grape variety native to the Mediterranean region that is rarely made into wine on its own. On the palate, it is crisp and lively, with an elegant finish. Its aromas of yellow and green lemon, along with white flowers, lend it a refreshing quality. It’s a true Gem be discovered!

A still white wine with notes of yellow fruit and exotic flavors—dry but lacking in depth and flat, which is a shame given its aroma

An exuberant, floral nose, but short on the palate and quickly flat. A clear lack of balance in the acidity. Just passable.

Review by Mr. REMY P. Posted on May 6, 2021
Very disappointed. There are good, inexpensive whites in Sicily, but this one isn’t one of them. Only the aroma is decent, but on the palate, once you take a sip, you leave the rest in the glass (the unanimous opinion of my guests, whom I wanted to introduce to this wine) and pour the remaining half of the bottle down the drain. It has an unpleasant bitter aftertaste reminiscent of bad Greek resin wines. What a shame—Sicily has so many good white wines. The red, Nero d'Avola from the same producer, is significantly better and more enjoyable.
