Very disappointed. There are some good, inexpensive white wines in Sicily, but this one isn’t one of them. Only the bouquet is decent, but on the palate—once you take a sip—you leave the rest in the glass (the unanimous opinion of my guests, whom I wanted to introduce to this wine) and pour the remaining half of the bottle down the sink. It has an unpleasant bitter aftertaste reminiscent of bad Greek resin-flavored wines. What a shame—Sicily has so many great white wines. The red, Nero d’Avola from the same producer, is significantly better and more enjoyable.
