Il Palagio
Owned by singer Sting since 2000, the Il Palagio estate is located in the heart of Tuscany, Italy. The cultivation of vines and olive trees has a centuries-old tradition on the landsof Il Palagio. Sting and his wife Trudy, who are deeply committed to environmental causes, have converted the vineyard to organic farming and replanted 11 hectares of vines.
The grape varieties at the Il Palagio estate consist mainly of Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, Syrah, and Merlot for the reds, and Vermentino and Sauvignon Blanc for the whites.
