Despite its very elegant presentation, I remain somewhat skeptical of this Chianti, which has a smooth, juicy, and lively profile with intense flavors of vibrant red fruits, though these are underscored by pronounced acidity. Prominent yet refined tannins accompany the vibrant, mineral-driven finish. I would have appreciated a bit more body and substance. Ultimately, it’s a bit pricey for what it is. It pairs well and is easy to drink with a generous plate of spaghetti alla carbonara sprinkled with Parmesan. Rating = 3.8.

Review by Mr. MASSIMILIANO G. Published on 10/30/2024
A very good Chianti, with a lovely Sangiovese character; the nose indeed reveals notes of red berries and geranium. On the palate, it’s a smooth wine despite its pronounced tannins, with notes of red berries and pepper, and lovely freshness... It pairs wonderfully with moussaka.
