Despite its very elegant presentation, I remain somewhat skeptical of this Chianti with its smooth, juicy, and lively profile, featuring intense flavors of vibrant red fruits that are, however, underscored by pronounced acidity. Prominent yet refined tannins accompany the vibrant, mineral-infused finish. I would have appreciated a bit more body and substance. Ultimately, it’s a bit pricey for what it is. It pairs well and is easy to drink with a generous plate of spaghetti alla carbonara sprinkled with Parmesan. Rating = 3.8.
