"All the opulence and sensuality of Tuscany in a top-shelf bottle: a true treasure to keep in your wine cellar!"

"Antinori's 2021 Solaia is another wine that reflects all the potential I sensed when I tasted it a few months ago. More than anything else, the 2021 is a fine example of the style Antinori has been favoring lately—an approach that prioritizes finesse over opulence. Aromas of black plum, mocha, licorice, chocolate, spices, lavender, and menthol unfold naturally in the glass. The oak and tannins are perfectly balanced. About the wine:

Antinori's 2021 Solaia is another wine that reflects all the potential I sensed when I tasted it a few months ago. The 2021 spent 18 months in barrels, three months in once-used barrels during malolactic fermentation, then 15 months in 100% new barrels for the remainder of its aging. 2027–2051

About the wine:

Sophisticated and refined. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, with elegant, silky tannins that linger for several minutes. Blackberries and blackcurrants with hints of graphite and pencil lead. Such beautiful tannins. Elegant and refined. Best enjoyed in five or six years.
