The Ripasso technique, so characteristic of Valpolicella, lends structure and complexity to this blend. With its intense, almost black color, the wine’s concentration is immediately apparent: ripe aromas of black fruit and spices mingle in the glass. On the palate, it is rich and very elegant. A superb wine to pair with classic Italian dishes!

A fine wine. Unfortunately, the bottle we tasted had a slight cork taint....Nevertheless, one can sense the high quality of this unique wine. (Ripasso method)

I don't understand the comment from the gentleman who says this wine is "awful." I think it has a lovely texture on the palate and the fruit is very ripe. It has a higher level of complexity than the 2015 Valpolicella. In this price range, for an Italian wine, I wasn't expecting such high quality!
