A new vintage, the 2009 was rated: Robert Parker 88-89+/100
The estate cultivates “forgotten” grape varieties, such as Serine, an ancient variety of Syrah, which—when blended with Syrah (the modern variety), both of which yield very low harvests—produces a highly distinctive wine. The style is one where power is certainly always present, but finesse and freshness add a whole new dimension. A colorful, dense, spicy wine with great aging potential!
