This wine is appealing on the nose and captivating from the very first sip: a blend of ripe black fruits and spices, with a full-bodied, opulent structure that is superbly balanced and refreshing. Decant it well in advance (at least 3 hours) to enjoy it with spicy dishes. It will reach its peak in at least 5 years.

The wine is completely oxidized—undrinkable. Yet it was stored under good conditions and drunk in 2019 (the label indicates it can be kept until 2027). I notice that others have had the same experience before me (comment from 08/19/2014).

Review by Mr. ANTONY M. Posted on August 19, 2014

A good month after receiving my order, I got ready to taste it, and as soon as I opened it, a strong smell of oxidation hit me... Disappointing—I’m counting on other bottles of this same vintage to form a more objective opinion! My rating reflects my experience with the first bottle I opened. I’m hoping to find the pleasant surprise described in the product description.
