Anne and Frédéric Maurel have been managing Château Salitis since 1986, one of the historic estates of the Cabardès appellation that has long contributed to the appellation’s reputation. A family-owned estate for five generations, the property spans 110 hectares overlooking the city of Carcassonne on the southern slope of the Montagne Noire.
Château Salitis,which has been farmed organically since 2010, produces wines that are powerful and straightforward, elegant, and always incredibly fresh.
