Anne and Frédéric Maurel have been running Château Salitis since 1986, one of the historic estates of the Cabardès appellation, which has always contributed to the reputation of this appellation. A family property for five generations, the estate covers 110 hectares overlooking the city of Carcassonne, on the southern slope of the Montagne Noire.
Château Salitis, which has been organic since 2010, produces powerful, straightforward wines that are elegant and always incredibly fresh.
