Anne and Frédéric Maurel have been running Château Salitis since 1986, one of the historic estates of the Cabardès appellation that has long contributed to the appellation’s reputation. A family-owned estate for five generations, the property spans 110 hectares with a view of the city of Carcassonne, on the southern slope of the Montagne Noire.
Château Salitis,which has been practicing organic farming since 2010, produces powerful, straightforward, and elegant wines that are always incredibly fresh.
