Domaine Florent Rouanet

For four generations, the family estate has been based in Aragon, in the heart of the Aude department, between Carcassonne and the Cathar castles. After growing up among the vineyards and working as a wine broker, Florian Rouanet took over the estate in 2020 from his father, driven by a desire to make wine himself from the family’s grapes. Within a few weeks, his own winery was up and running.

Located in the Cabardès appellation—the westernmost in Languedoc—the Florian Rouanet vineyard benefits from a terroir characterized by clay and limestone soils, a unique climate, and old vines. These conditions lend the grapes richness, freshness, and character.

The Florian Rouanet estate produces wines that prioritize the expression of the terroir and the personality of the vintage. “L’Immature,” the family’s first cuvée, symbolizes this new winemaking adventure: delicious, authentic wines that blend family heritage with creative freedom.
