Notes: Robert Parker 91/100, RVF 16/20, Gault Millau 16/20, Gold Medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2011
"This 2008 vintage is characterized by its finesse, with aromas of smoke, black fruits, and spices. Round on the attack, well-coated and well-aged with great finesse on the palate, this wine has the delicacy required for a shoulder of lamb or spit-roasted hare." (Les Meilleurs Vins de France 2012 - Gault Millau)

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2015 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
This vast estate is located north of Pézenas. Surrounded by springs, which gave it its name, it covers nearly 100 hectares centered around a 19th-century folly. Since 2003, it has been owned by Axa Millésimes, which is investing significant effort in reviving this brand.
Guide des Vins Gault & Millau
2-star rating (Successful production)
About the estate:
Its name is linked to the numerous springs that flow around the farmhouse before emptying into the Peyne River. The vineyard covers 75 hectares of hillsides north of Pézenas. The terroir here is complex and varied, with a predominance of Villafranchian gravel on red clay and alluvial deposits. The entire Mas Belles Eaux vineyard has been reorganized around traditional Languedoc grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Carignan.
