Domaine Mas Belles Eaux
The Domaine Mas Belles Eaux vineyard covers 90 hectares of sunny hillsides and produces, among other things, AOC Coteaux du Languedoc wines. Bathed in light, it benefits from rare geological qualities and a complex and varied terroir: Villafranchian gravel on red clay and alluvial deposits. After an in-depth study and precise identification of the soils, the entire vineyard of Domaine Mas Belles Eaux was reorganized around traditional Languedoc grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Carignan.
Domaine Mas Belles Eaux and its 17th-century vaulted cellar are the oldest buildings on an estate planted with rare species. The recent technical installations at Domaine Mas Belles Eaux include a state-of-the-art winery and an aging cellar for maturing AOC Coteaux du Languedoc wines in barrels. Thanks to these high-performance tools, better control of vine yields, and the implementation of a suitable winemaking method (long and gentle maceration), the wines of Domaine Mas Belles Eaux have taken on a new lease of life.
