Rating: Gault Millau 15/20
A generous, complex, and persistent white wine that once again confirms Michel Louison's outstanding talent. He plays with each of his grape varieties and his exceptional terroir like a conductor directing an orchestra, without a single false note. Marsanne and Roussanne play their part, offering a truly well-balanced gastronomic white wine with a beautiful minerality that is ideal for pairing with fine fish and scallops!

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2021 guide) 1*Star (A serious production, recommendable, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

This property made Faugères great in the 1990s, before being taken over by Julien Seydoux, who came here with the modesty to learn about the terroir and the desire to bring Les Estanilles back to the forefront. The wines are gradually adapting to the raw materials and still have room for improvement. The reds are powerful and flavorful, wines with strong personalities.

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated estate (2021 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

In 2009, self-taught Julien Seydoux bought this 44-hectare estate, which is run organically and produces some truly remarkable Faugères wines. A sure bet.
