Château des Estanilles

Château des Estanilles is located on one of the most beautiful terroirs in the Faugères appellation, in the Languedoc region. The Château des Estanilles estate was built from the ground up in 1976 by Michel Louison, a self-taught winemaker and true enthusiast. Château des Estanilles has recently changed ownership, and the upcoming 2010 vintage was vinified by the brand-new team led by the young and dynamic investor Julien Seydoux.

The vineyards of Château des Estanilles cover 35 hectares of vines cultivated with great rigor and respect, certified organic since 2010, on the hills of the Faugères appellation. Cultivation is carried out without herbicides or chemical fertilizers, using traditional plowing and organic amendments that maintain soil health and promote deep root growth. The wines are low in acidity, with plenty of ripe fruit and spices; they are pleasant to drink, featuring a beautiful tannic structure, yet with great finesse, velvety texture, and elegance.
