(2018 vintage notes)
creamy
elegant

This is an elegant and expressive white Faugères with floral and yellow fruit notes, faithful to the identity of the two grape varieties that compose it: Roussanne and Marsanne. On the palate, its richness brings a beautiful roundness and deliciously ripe fruit, balanced perfectly by a lively structure. The long, spicy finish makes this cuvée ideal for pairing with white meats or fish in sauce.

About the estate:

Marie Boudal meticulously cultivates her old vines (24 hectares of organic land) of Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, and Mourvèdre (some of which are over 70 years old) on the steep slopes of Roquessels, in the Faugères appellation. She has two labels: Ch. des Peyregrandes and Dom. Bénézech-Boudal.
