Domaine de Ravanès - Les Gravières du Taurou 2012
89/100
Robert Parker
"Last bottles!"
From a carefully selected plot, this wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot, aged for 48 months in barrels. A great wine, distinguished, powerful and complex, offering tons of spices and candied fruit, with a full-bodied and deep palate. This is a cuvée not to be missed, the 1999 vintage of which beat the great Petrus in a famous blind tasting!
