Domaine de Ravanès

The Domaine de Ravanès is known for producing "exceptional" wines that are well known to wine lovers. Marc Benin oversees the 33-hectare vineyard of Domaine de Ravanès, producing fine red wines for aging under the Vin de Pays des Coteaux de Murviel Protected Geographical Indication designation, as well as highly original sweet white wines, made in particular from botrytized grapes harvested in the heart of winter.

Domaine de Ravanès produces the Les Gravières du Taurou cuvée, considered the "Pétrus of Languedoc," after its 1999 Vin de Pays des Coteaux de Murviel vintage beat the great Pétrus in a memorable blind tasting.... The estate has been organically farmed since 2011.
